KIDS |
Theater, musical, circus, and puppet performances. Buenos Aires has a lot to offer to kids. The main theaters and cultural centers are located along Corrientes Avenue.
In winter, or if it rains, you may choose to go to a shopping mall where you will find playgrounds, food and films for children. For sunny days, the city offers outdoor tours and the following traditional options.
The glyptodonts are under your feet
Glyptodonts were mammals that inhabited this part of the planet some 200 thousand years ago (their most ancient remains date back to that time). They were animals similar to armadillos with a giant shell. Glyptodonts are in Buenos Aires subsoil. Some were found in the excavations performed to build the subway. You will be able to observe what these animals looked like in the subway line D, Juramento station and – in short – also in line B, Tronador station. You can also visit them in the Museum of Natural Sciences. |
