MOVIE THEATERS Movie theaters in Buenos Aires offer several screenings every day, which generally start by 1 pm and end by 11 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, some theaters have a “late night” screening (trasnoche) as of 1 am.

Ticket prices range between $ 4,50 and $ 10, since there is no fixed fare. It is also usual to have discount tickets in some screenings during the week.
ARGENTINE FILMS Argentine films have their own theaters: Tita Merello Complex (Suipacha 442); Gaumount (Rivadavia 1535) and some screenings in the Cosmos (Av. Corrientes 2046).
INTERNATIONAL MOVIE RELEASES International movie releases are shown in the large theater complexes - generally in shopping malls – and in theaters located in the neighborhoods.
FILMS D’AUTEUR Films d’auteur, the films screened off the commercial circuit and theme movie cycles are generally shown in cultural centers, foundations and movie clubs.

The Leopoldo Lugones auditorium in the San Martín Theater (Av. Corrientes 1430) offers film cycles with tickets at half the price of commercial theaters. You may pick up the detailed film programs in the box office of the theater. Programs include information on directors and actors.
