ART GALLERIES AND EXHIBITION HALLS |
Many museums are located in Buenos Aires city –either public and private ones— as well as art galleries and expo centers.
In neighborhoods like Retiro, Barrio Norte, Centro and Recoleta, the most famous art galleries are placed. During the last years, many galleries of contemporaneous art have been opened in Palermo neighborhood.
In Belgrano neighborhood, new spaces of art coexist with other institutional ones, like the Spanish Museum ‘Enrique Larreta’ and the ‘Yrurtia’ Museum-House.
The most important expo rooms are: Proa Foundation, in La Boca neighborhood; the Recoleta Cultural Center; and the Palais de Glace, which is also the venue of the National Room.
